MySQL developer of the popular open source database took a swipe at Oracle this week with a one-year MySQL Enterprise Unlimited subscription that offers a company-wide enterprise site agreement for US$40 000. MySQL Enterprise Unlimited is designed for companies with existing site licences for Oracle Microsoft SQL Server Sybase and IBM DB2.
