A poll of IT enterprise specialists using MySQL found that open-source database users have a strong demand for an out-of-the-box MySQL application that will address their problems. The most frequent request (cited by 33%) was a demand for improved scalability followed by maintenance (23%) availability (17%) and throughput (15%).
